Dear Lourenço Nisticò,

You made a difference for so many animals this year. May I please count on your support to help us do even more in 2012?

Your support helped us respond to animals in need when Hurricane Irene devastated the Eastern Seaboard. Your support helped us convince Lipton, the U.S. Army, and others to stop cruel and painful animal tests. You helped PETA push fashion designers and retailers, including Mango, to ban fur and other animal skins from their collections. Most importantly, your support empowered PETA to be an uncompromising advocate for all animals—in corporate boardrooms, laboratories, abusive homes, the media, and the public eye.

We now have the opportunity to make even greater gains for animals in the year ahead. I hope you will resolve to help animals this holiday season by making a tax-deductible year-end gift to PETA right now.

Together, we can accomplish so much for animals in the new year, including the following:

  • Strengthening our campaigns against companies and designers who promote the painful killing of animals for their fur and continuing to lead the international fight against Canada's bloody seal slaughter.
  • Exposing shameful animal testing facilities and their cruelty to animals. Your support of our vital work against animal tests is the greatest source of hope—and most often, the only hope—for these animals.
  • Rescuing more cats and dogs who are being neglected and abused. Your generosity allows PETA's emergency caseworkers to respond to tens of thousands of calls about animals in danger each year.
  • Ending the suffering of elephants, chimpanzees, and other animals who are beaten and forced to perform in circuses, roadside zoos, and other cruel forms of "entertainment."

For the sake of all animals who are at risk of being neglected and abused, please support PETA in 2012 by making a generous tax-deductible gift right now.

Thank you for resolving to share your compassion with animals this holiday season.

Kind regards,
Ingrid Newkirk

P.S. Your special year-end gift will empower PETA to continue our work to stop cruelty to animals everywhere. I am counting on your ongoing resolve to help animals in the year ahead. Time is running out to make a tax-deductible donation for 2011, so please give today and help us start off strong for animals in the new year.
